ICC works with the leading cell manufacturers in the world to select high quality cells that are properly matched to each customer’s application. From the latest in high-rate, high-capacity Li-Ion to standard NiMH, we provide an unbiased recommendation.
Circuit and Firmware Design
ICC’s technology experts possess in-depth experience and expertise in battery management circuit and firmware design. We have experience writing algorithms and software that is application-specific including:
- Fuel gauge circuits utilizing the latest algorithms for calculating battery capacity and state of health
- Safety circuit designs to fit every application. Our designs take into consideration key application parameters such as in rush currents, charge and discharge rates to provide excellent protection for your battery

Mechanical Design and Tooling

Quick-turn solid model sampling capability puts first-concept samples into customer hands very quickly.
Cell and System Qualification Testing
ICC has the latest computer-controlled systems for testing individual cells and battery packs as part of a total rechargeable system.
- Several hundred individually controlled channels for cycle testing rechargeable cells
- Complete control over the charge and discharge algorithms used in the cycle testing, as well as the data acquired during the tests
- Additional test systems designed to test complete rechargeable systems, including the application specific adapter, charger and battery pack. This testing provides useful data to the end customer regarding total system performance
Design Verification and Agency Certification
Every battery pack goes through a rigorous design verification testing regime to ensure that it exceeds every aspect of the product specification. This allows you to confidently release your product into the marketplace with a reliable battery solution.
