Technology Driven Charging Solutions

Virtual Voltage Termination (VVT ™)

While other manufacturers use traditional CC-CV charging for Li-Ion, ICC goes a step further by implementing our Virtual Voltage Termination (VVT) technology. This technology is designed to safeguard against potentially hazard battery charging conditions. VVT accurately measures the open-circuit voltage (OCV) of the cells in the battery assembly throughout the constant-current stage of the charge cycle, which is omitted in the traditional CC-CV method resulting in extended, incomplete, or unsafe charge. The result is prevention of hazardous battery charging conditions while maximizing the packs performance.

In-Pack Charge Control

ICC's patented In-Pack Charge Control places the voltage and current regulation, charge termination, and safety mechanism necessary for properly charging Li-Ion batteries into the battery pack itself. By removing charge circuitry to the host device, In-Pack software, not traditional hardware allows electronics manufacturers to effectively free up valuable component space, thereby reducing overall product cost.
